Dionne Hughes (also known as Miss London or London Hughes) is a British comedienne, television writer and CBBC Presenter.[1] She also wrote and starred in Laughter Shock a comedy for the BBC which piloted in 2010.[2]

Dionne Hughes was born in East London. When she was younger, Hughes spent most of her spare time working on new routines with dance crew, Visions. Her family moved to Brighton when she was aged 12 where she became one of the founding members of Brighton’s first ever hip-hop dance crew, Funk Stars.
London revealed that she auditioned for the S Club Juniors when she was younger.
The East London teenager began writing plays for talent shows at her college and was taken aback at the positive reception her material received. It was at this point that she realised her true calling in entertainment. When she moved back to London to study television, media and cultural studies at Kingston University, she was adamant that she would begin etching out a career in comedy.
Hughes made her first 'gig' at the university's annual talent show. Where she made a stand-up performance in front of a teenage audience and two professional comedians Jamie Howard and Little Man.
Afterwards, she landed her first paid gig at The Sunday Show. Subsequently, she was signed by an agent.
Hughes made her first appearance on the CBBC channel on 18 July 2010. She then went on to make a guest appearance on The Stephen K Amos Show on 12 November 2010.
Hughes made her first appearance on the CBBC Channel on 18 July 2010. Hughes and Chloe Bale were drafted in to present the 2010 Summer Holiday weekends as part of "Ultimate Summer". After "Ultimate Summer" had finished Bale departed from the CBBC Office to move to America, leaving Hughes with no co-host. Luckily, Dodge T. Dog moved from presenting with Chris Johnson to present the afternoons with Iain. Hughes previously presented weekend mornings with Chris Johnson and is also a presenter of All Over the Place. Hughes departed from CBBC on 2nd September 2011.
